Nestled in the beautiful countryside of Powys , between the woods of Wenallt and Laundry, sits White House, a most peaceful venue.
Enveloped within its own woodland, gardens, paddock and stream, White House is a beautiful, part timber framed house dating back to the 17th century. It has a wonderful warm feeling and the area surrounding this idyllic location is one of the most peaceful you will ever experience. White House is the result of a Quest to find an ideal environment to create a Therapeutic Hideaway where both mind and body may be rested and nourished.
In addition to White House with its five character bedrooms, bright eating and cosy sitting areas and Large Meeting room, the venue offers a variety of additional outdoor space including woodland, stables and outbuildings which lend themselves to a variety of uses. This provides the option of Exclusivity together with Flexibility for Specific requirements, which we always endeavour to fulfil for our Clients. We can also arrange collection from local Air and Rail services namely Birmingham, Manchester, Shrewsbury and Welshpool, which hosts its own local Airfield.
"I have run my Women’s Quest Apprenticeship trainings at The White House for two years. Located in the most beautiful and peaceful Welsh countryside, Anne Marie and Helen have created a really inviting and relaxed environment, bending over backwards to make sure we have everything we want. As a facilitator this is heaven - I have to focus on holding and teaching the group and in turn I am held and supported by them so that I can fully concentrate on my work. They are full of warmth and gentle humour and we are always made to feel completely at home. The workshop space is professional, attractive and full of light with views of the garden and surrounding fields and hills - a lovely space to work in. I heartily recommend The White House whether as a personal treat or as a retreat or workshop venue."
